Climbing Tocllaraju Climb - Cordillera Blanca
Summit: 6032 meter (19.790 ft)
Difficulty: moderate (D)
Duration expedition Huaraz - summit - Huaraz: 4 Days
Good to combine with Ishinca and perhaps
Mount Urus (5423)
to start with. Urus is a very easy mountain but due to the decrease of the glacier there is only
little snow left on the way to the summit. While one has to take off and put on his crampons several
times Urus has become a lot less interesting, especially in comparison to Ishinca.
Ishinca combined with Tocllaraju takes 5-6 days.

Comment: at Ishinca basecamp you could also stay in the Refugee if desired. Extra pay to do so is approximately US $ 15 per night. We will still carry all tents and mattresses though - quite often they have a lot of people and it is too noisy to actually be able to sleep (and hence, clients return to their tents).
