Sleeping bag rental in Huaraz

Sleeping bags available for rent in Huaraz are of all sorts, shapes, sizes, materials and unfortunately also years of use and number of times washed or worse, number of uses NOT washed.

• Years of use: In the case of down sleeping bags, together with maintenance, a very important issue, in Huaraz not very often considered. To avoid this uncertainty, we only have synthetic fill sleeping bags – they almost don’t lose quality over the years and lots of washing. As our clients don’t normally carry sleeping bags (they go on the donkeys), weight is not an issue.
• Number of times washed (or not washed) is not an obvious marker at all (and this is a delicate one in Huaraz). OUR sleeping bags are washed after EVERY use. Again, all our bags therefore are synthetic fill (down looses quality TOO fast when washing and therefor are not appropriate for rental).
